Hey Joe. The fruit you picked up at the Pakson Highland coffee shop is the Chocolate fruit. They have to break open the fruit, take the "fruit" pulp out, to put in a place to ferment, washed, dried and then you can grind them up into "pure chocolate". They grow a lot in Mexico. Like the coffee bean, the powder is kind of bitter so you must add milk and sugar to make something you can eat. Chocolate bar. The Wat Phu ruins. A lot of the walls were made with volcanic rock, the ones with a lot of little holes, porous rock. There was a Lao/Thai movie that was shot here. With these videos of the East and South of Laos, I'm getting ready to buy the tickets to go to Lao and Viet Nam. March 2025.
