I use to know one family in Ahmedabad Gujarat who's grand mother moved there after marriage from Assonora North Goa family name Menezes their house and land also been grabbed by fellow goan after 20 to 25 years later her son came to file case but poor guy lost case and money which he spent on lawyer

This kind of battle can't be fought in the courts, they should've taken help from rest of the villagers and thrown out the squatters.
