Hey guys!!! Check this out... Dubai Series! In this episode, our journey in DUBAI continues... we are off to visit Shiva and Krishna temple in Dubai. The Hindu Temple (referred to locally as Shiva and Krishna Mandir) is a place of worship for Hindus in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The temple caters to the large Hindu community in the United Arab Emirates and is currently the only Hindu temple in the UAE.
One of the best things about Dubai is that it is a melting pot of cultures. You can find people from all walks of life here, living together in harmony. The Mosques in Dubai, Dubai churches and temples, all stand together in peace for those who belong to those faiths.
Shiva Temple is a serene and peaceful temple in Bur Dubai.Tucked away behind the large mosque located next to the Dubai Museum, this Hindu holy place attracts a large number of devotees. Adjacent alleys and side streets feature colourful shops dotting the lane selling all pooja items including garlands and religious paraphernalia. People are friendly. Visitors and devotees alike are expected to remove shoes. There is a station where they can be deposited next to the main entrance, but people also leave them curbside in adjacent areas. To gain a darshan of the deity, visitors have to ascend stairways to upper floor.There is a Saibaba enclosure adjacent to Lord Shiva. A satisfying darshan of Shiva with pooja is a must visit in Dubai.There is an adjacent Shrinathji Krishna Temple too,which can also be visited.
