Visiting South Pasadena - Exploring Architecture and History

Taking the LA Metro to explore the History and Architecture found in South Pasadena around Mission St. and Fair Oaks Ave.
Sites visited on this trip include: Meridian Iron Works, Alexander Building, Mission Arroyo Hotel, Myers Halloween House, Old South Pasadena Library, Le Longly House, Wynyate, the Rialto Theater, Fair Oaks Pharmacy, Adobe Flores and so much more.

I grew up in South Pas. You mentioned several things I did not know and showed some places I did know. They filmed parts of Teen Wolf, The Terminator, Peewee's big adventure, and just a few hundred feet from where the Halloween house once stood, parts of Pretty in Pink on Hope Street, the street I grew up on. Great video.

I graduated from SPHS in 1973. Went to JHS and HS there. Moved away for good in 1989. Was nice to see the old area.

I love it! My Grandparents lived in La Cañada near Pasadena. Can you find out about the old redwood forest that used to exist in that area, please?
