I think it is arguable that this is the most dangerous path in England. I think Morecambe bay is far more dangerous due to shifting quicksand and the speed of the tide.

They are Often compared but the broomway is usually agreed as the most dangerous for the same reasons as Morecambe but with the added unexploded bombs etc and the number of deaths recorded makes it the most dangerous

Didn't realise it was MOD area. Just thought it was dangerous cos of incoming tides, disorientation etc. More dangerous than Solway Firth, Morecombe Bay ?

Yeah very! Apparently there is someone called the estuary man who can take you along the path safely

Hundreds of people have drowned over the centuries on the Broomway . it goes to Foulness Island.

One day I will walk it, obviously with the right guide we don't fancy being blown up for drowning!
