There was a teacher at my high school who taught two generations of students, he was such a real, raw and inspirational teacher. The first day of class he’d give out his phone number and email and say “if you’re ever stranded at a party or drinking and need a ride call me. Don’t ever feel like you need to drive drunk” he would give relationship advice and taught us how important investing in your future was. My last year in high school he was diagnosed with Cancer, a year after graduation he passed away. And at his funeral there were well over 1,200 people. He taught many parents of the students that went there from the 80s to 2014. He CHANGED so many lives and is forever missed.

This is one thing I’m really looking forward to in becoming a middle school/ high school teacher. A teacher does not often feel the weight of their work until 10 years after the students have left, but they constantly remind themselves of the impact they’re making. I really really liked this video. It almost made me tear up because I can relate to the feeling of being severely impacted by teachers. It’s a little crazy (in a good way) that the teacher still remembers your seats. Hopefully my teachers will remember me when I visit them after high school. Definitely one of my favorite videos.

Wow all Florida High schools look alike! I went to HS in Orlando and the layout/color, breezeway, entrance is identical! I knew that shows in the area looked very much a like but I didn't know that even in soflo they are the same! So cool

Omg, I can't tell you how this impacted me! There have been so many amazing teachers that I've had, to be honest, I havent thought about them recently. That being said, they do this for the "kids" whatever age, and they don't make an amazing income. Thanks for doing this, I sometimes forget the people that helped me along the way!
