I travelled to Netherlands as I watched the football club who hates vloggers filming inside stadiums however despite this, I had the best experience I could have asked for! FC Twente is full of passionate supporters who deserve every bit of success!

I'm glad you got to experience the real FC Twente atmosphere, including being able to dominate for 90 minutes yet still needing to hold your breath til the last second because someone blundered lol, or as you call it "squeeky bum-time". Also a fun little tidbit, Twente was recently in the international news for having made more profits from selling beer than selling players, they sold a staggering amount of beer

So nice to see FC Twente! I went there about 20 years ago before all the extra tiers were there, amazing times and amazing people! Also watched them in the Dutch Cup final against Utrecht, they lost but what an amazing day! I'll be back one day!

I genuinely believe that if Twente managed to retain their Eredivisie title in 2011 then you would've gone on to become the PSV of the East and become a true regional powerhouse as the financial gamble would've gone to fruition. Joop Munsterman (the main person responsible for the mismanagement) started to float and was drunk on succes. He therefore took unacceptable risks, which came later back to bite us in the ass. What would have happened if we retained the title in 2011? Munsterman would have been allowed to stay longer and perhaps take even greater risks. Would we have come back from that? Munsterman is a very strange person for a Twente fan. Dont get me wrong, in 2003 the club almost went bankrupt as well. Then he came and in seven years we became Dutch champion for the first time ever. But he just needs some one who restrains him from taking unacceptable risks

I remember visiting there as away fan mid-late 90s. It was still one tier back then, the round window shapes then marking the top of the stand. Lots of clubs built new stadiums in those days. They are all somewhat alike, but still different enough to have a character of their own. Now that many clubs are expanding them, that only evolves the character, thankfully. I didn't really like the stadium back then, and the Twente fans back then were kinda in the progress towards what they are today, but they had all these slow songs that they kept on drumming up, no end to it. Irritated the hell out of me. But Twente has come a long way over the years, no doubt. I always like to see Dutch clubs do well (with a few exceptions, naturally), and with a solid and true backing. Even though I don't go to the footy anymore, it's all that's left for me to feel Dutch about.

Would you consider a vlog on Torquay United? We are in peril and about to launch full scale versus the owner Clark Osborne. The man behind Bristol Rovers losing their original Stadium and many other broken promises to other sports venues and fans. We need as much exposure and support as we can muster to try to win this battle and save our club from being slowly destroyed, or not so slowly at present. There is a real story here to be told. Let me know how to get in touch if you are interested. Our Supporters trust has many ex player, some big names, we can call in to be part of this if you want to take that approach. I advise, get the cameras up to a home game or outside a game a record the growing toxicity as protests ramp up
