This Jabiru factory is simply amazing: for one man to conceive , build AND a plane AND an engine is so unique and Mr Jabiru deserves the top price in engineering! And yes they are still the most affordable airplane ad fly beautifully. Haven’t tried the new generation engine but hope to do it this year or next year in South Africa...

Jabiru is an amazing story of engineering. Lovely to hear the daughter of the founder of Jabiru. Wonderful philosophy as well . I think in South Africa where they are building the Jabiru in George, the price tag is still rather “ cheap” compared to a Sling or any other airplanes.

I flew my Jabiru LSA55/3J out of Bundaberg to Orange NSW. Loved the trip via Chinchilla Moree Mudgee then Orange. I now need to fly it back to Bundaberg to get a new composite propeller fitted and some other work done.

Visitors to Bundaberg must also but the Bert Hinkler museum. Australian world aviation pioneer. Enjoyed the video.
