While on holiday there I sat down and started speaking to this old guy, he was born and raised there, he said the best times in Vegas was when the Mob were running it

Oh, how I love all things mob related. I grew up my Norwegian neighborhood, surrounded by the Gotti's, Colombo, and Castellano families. They kept the neighborhood safe. I knew them all, and babysat their kids. It was an awesome time growing up in Brooklyn. Thanks for this video, it warmed my heart ❤️

@@brianbadonde9251 Yeah cause that doesn't happen now with just straight street punks for the change in someone pocket. Back then the neighborhood respected them and if some scumbag petty thief rob or hurt some mother from the neighborhood they would break his legs and make sure it didn't happen again. And if someone was killed by an outfit then you can almost guarantee that person was into something bad. That was on that individual. And your not holier than thou or a crusader. So let's stop judging and let's stop victimizing.

@@matthewmoneypit1558 I love all mob related things as well...BUTTT LETS NOTTT PRETEND THE SOMEE MEMBERS OF THE OUTFIT (CHICAGO MOB) OR THE MAFIA (NEW YORK BRANCH OF THE MOB) DIDNTTT KILL WOMEN AND SOMETIMES CHILDREN AS WELL THAT WERENT IN ANYWAY "CONNECTED." CASE IN POINT... TERESA FERRERA, WHOSE HEAD WAS CUT OFF OF HER BODY AFTER SHE WAS KILLED SIMPLY BC SHE WAS TOMMY DESIMMONE'S (YES TOMMY PORTRAYED IN THE CLASSIC MOB MOVIE "GOODFELLAS") GIRLFRIEND. SHE WAS KILLED SIMPLY BC SHE OVERHEARD CONVOS ABOUT THE LUFTHANSA HEIST! ORRR WHAT ABOUT THE FAMOUS MOB HIT ON NEW JERSEY BEAUTY QUEEN JANICE DRAKE WHEN SHE WAS WITH ANTHONY CARFANO? YOU CAN STILL SEE THE DEAD BODIES IN A CAR IF YOU GOOGLE IT. OR WHAT ABOUT THE MOBSTER WHO KILLED HIS WIFE IN THE HOSPITAL AFTER SHE GAVE BIRTH TO THEIR SON? HE ACTUALLY WAITED TILL SHE HAD THE BABY TO KILL HER? OR THE WOMAN BEATEN AND MURDERED BY HER MOB BF IN THE 1950S THEN HER HOUSE WAS SET ON FIRE AND SHE WAS BURNED ALIVE? OR WHAT ABOUT GUS GREENBAUM WHO WAS MURDERED WITH HIS WIFE ALSO. BOTH OF THEM WERE TIED UP WITH THEIR THROATS SLIT IN VEGAS IN THE 60S? OR THE WOMAN WHO WAS KILLED BY ANTHONY SPILITRO BC SHE WAS SUING THEM OVER THE CASINO IN VEGAS? THIS MURDER WAS PORTRAYED IN THE MOVIE "CASINO." DID THE MOB PROTECT THEIR COMMUNITIES? YES THEY DID. BUT THEY WERE ALSO STONE COLD KILLERS AS WELL. WHAT ABOUT WHEN PAULY VARIO (ALSO PORTRAYED IN "GOODFELLAS") BEAT HIS GUMAR/GIRLFRIEND WITH A BASEBALLL BATTT AFTER SHE TOLD HIS WIFE ABOUT THEIR RELATIONSHIP? VARIO BROKE BOTH HER ARMS AND A LEG AND HER EYE SOCKET WITH THE BASEBALL BAT IN FULL VIEW OF A CROWD OF PEOPLE. SO...YESSSS THEY PROTECTED THEIR COMMUNITIES! BUT THEY WERE RUTHLESS KILLERS ALSOOO THAT WOULD HURT/KILL A WOMAN WITH NO HESITATION IF SHE PROVED TO BE A PROBLEM. SO THIS GRANDIOSE IDEA THAT YOU AND OTHERS HAVE OF THE MOB BEING SOME TYPES OF RESPECTABLE PEOPLE WHO WOULDNT CROSS CERTAIN LINES...IS MOST DEFINITELYYY WRONG AND HISTORICALLY INACCURATE. PERIOD.

@@brianbadonde9251 YOU ARE 100% CORRECT IN YOUR COMMENTS, PERCEPTIONS, AND VIEWS. SOME PPL HAVE SUCH A GRANDIOSE VIEW OF THE MOB BC MOVIES HAVE SENSATIONALIZED THAT LIFE BUT THE TRUTH IS...THEY WERE RUTHLESS KILLERS WHO HAD NO QUALMS ABOUT HURTING WOMEN OR CHILDREN WHO GOT IN THE WAY OF THEIR OPERATIONS OR WHAT THEY WERE TRYING TO DO.

They weren’t that bad🤓 they just ruined a few communities with drugs. I mean let’s just glorify these drug dealers that killed, stole, and ruined families with drug use🤓because they were helping the communities and their selves.🤝next we should build a museum for El Chapo. Since drug dealers are not that bad😑

It was sold out but her “Uncle”, who had great connections, was able to make 2 tickets available to her and her friend, they were able to see Elvis in person and got a kiss from him. This museum was worth every penny and the speakeasy in the basement made me feel like I was back in that time. The courtroom still had a smell of cigarettes/cigars! So awesome to have had the chance to go!

Something I would like to add about Elliot Ness. After he finished chasing Capone, he ended up being transferred to Cleveland where he would have to try to track down the Cleveland Torso Murderer. The murderer would taunt Ness and never got caught. This along with the stress of chasing Capone and multiple divorces led him to becoming an alcoholic
