Visiting the Penske Racing Museum!

Come tag along as I visit the Penske Racing Museum in Scottsdale, Arizona! Roger Penske is one of the most legendary figures in motorsports history, collecting a record 17 wins at the Indianapolis 500 and 2 Daytona 500 wins. He will be an inductee into the NASCAR Hall of Fame in 2019.

I live in Reading, Pa Penske Racing Home base through out the 70's 80's and the 90's My cousin was a painter in the race shop I have seen so many great racecars over the years thank you for showing this great video tour

If you want to learn more about Mark Donohue, you should read his book, "The Unfair Advantage". It's a comprehensive history of his racing career, and has story after story of loopholes and innovations that made himself and Team Penske successful in it's infancy. He was a genius.

@@TheBeardedGentleman I go there every time I go to Phoenix. They rotate the cars so there will be Different cars in . I also have been to the Unser museum in Albuquerque.

The turbo is NOT under the plenum. It would have been hanging over the gearbox attached to the plenum and the exhaust headers.

Where @5:58 just so you that IS NOT the turbo charger. It was located behind the engine over the gearbox and before the transaxle.

The weather is nice year-round, and the area where this museum is, North Scottsdale, is a very "high end" area. Attached to the museum is a dealership with Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Maserati, Jaguar, and more.
