In Oxygen Not Included you’ll find that scarcities of oxygen, warmth and sustenance are constant threats to your colony's survival. Guide colonists through the perils of subterranean asteroid living and watch as their population grows until they're not simply surviving, but thriving...
Just make sure you don't forget to breathe.
Build Extensive Bases and Discover What it Takes to Survive:
Everything in your space colony is under your control, from excavation and resource allocation right down to plumbing and power systems. Resources will begin depleting with your first breath, however, so be sure to dig fast if you want to live.
It’s Mind Over Matter with Stress Simulations:
Keep the psychological impact of survival at bay with fun leisure activities, great accommodations and even better food for your colony. Duplicants each have different and potentially destructive ways of reacting to stress, so be sure to always keep them happy. Whatever the cost.
Avoid Boiling with Thermodynamics:
Temperature control is a constant concern in space; too cold and you'll freeze, too hot and you'll fry. Keep tabs on ambient environmental temperatures and your colony's heat production to maintain a nice, cozy atmosphere for your colonists.
Enhance Efficiency through Complex Gas and Liquid Simulations:
Create interlocking pipe systems to swiftly deliver fuel and liquid to critical areas of your base. Plan well and be rewarded as your colony transforms into an imperishable, well-oiled machine.
Take Charge with Power Grid Simulations:
Choose from a multitude of power sources including coal, hydrogen, natural gas or just plain old elbow grease. Manage power runoff, circuit overloads and meltdowns to keep your colony running smoothly.
Always Keep Yourself Breathing:
Enter the Oxygen Overlay and watch air moving through your base in real-time. Monitor carbon dioxide accumulation and oversee oxygen generation processes to mold your colony into a veritable deep-space oasis.
Waste Nothing through Extreme Recycling:
Make use of every last resource for a base that truly exemplifies efficiency. Recycle waste into precious fuel, process unbreathable gas into air, or harness the natural bodily processes of wild creatures for food. If you’re clever, you might even be able to run a base off colonist farts.

Customize new modular rockets to your liking, then explore the expanse of space with the newly overhauled Starmap. Huge expansions to the Research Tree provide new mid-game Rocketry options, giving your Duplicants an edge in the asteroid space-race.
New Critters

I don't know why but I just for some reason gotten the knack to write a little POV from Gossman about the situation he finds himself in. Gossman woke up on the hard floor, a light dissipating around him. He can hear mummering around him and he looked up to see several individuals looking at him. "Oh, looks like we got a new arrival! It's not every Cycle that we get a new friend." Said a curly blonde haired individual wearing a chef's hat, he had a name tag that said "Otto" "He doesn't look useful though, he seems... slow." Said a man wearing a plumber's cap who also had a name tag that had the name "Meep" written on it. "But he appears to carry the strength of a good digger." Said another man with brown hair and a golden headdress with lights who was labeled "Devon" by his name tag. "How about we send him to Crudiel? We need someone there to get us the materials we need, plus we won't loss anyone of great importance. Just make sure he doesn't go on MY rocket." Said a more feminine individual who had the name "Ellie" embedded in her clothes. Gossman didn't know what they were talking about but he got a gut feeling that he wasn't exactly welcome here and that something bad was going to happen to him soon.

A year late to this series, but I’m ROOTING for Gossman! I know he’s not your ideal Duplicant, but he survived what was supposed to be a suicide mission and is now building the beginnings of your next colony. He deserves to survive as the founder of the Crudiel colony!

You could have retrieved the oxygen in the pipes by just deconstructing them. It should not even be too hard to keep Gossmann alive, because you get lots of polluted oxygen from the offgasing water and can use the planter pots to the south to grow Bog Buckets (4 plants are enough). They may not be the best dupe, but they certainly can prepare the arrival of another dupe and set up the basics. #savegossmann

Lol the gaz pipe in the rocket was exactly a nightmare I had!! All my base was covered with liquid pipes all connected together and I had to use the pliers to create path for the liquids in the base without bridges, like in these minigame where you have to create paths without connecting them

Oh, you also still have access to the telescope from the base game, which is larger and requires oxygen. It can see four tiles away instead of three. It’s renamed to the enclosed telescope, and is farther down the tech tree. I think it would be useful for setting up an easy telescope station on a new planetoid to give the dupe there something to do when they would otherwise be idle, and since it has it’s own oxygen supply you don’t have to build a whole room.

You don't need to lock the doors. The doors have arrows on them. While you're not on space turn the arrows off so they can't enter the door.

The grounded option in the rocket control station makes it so that dupes can fill any storages and deliver anything that is needed in the rocket but they cannot use buildings like the toilet or take materials out of storages. Also i would suggest not putting bleach stone in the rocket. They do not use a ton of bleach stone with the hand sanitizer so you do not need to worry about it running out while in space. The other nice thing about grounded is that you do not need to change it in space as everything is open for use by the astrodupe and once it lands it turns back into a grounded state and can only be filled with the required resources

Apparently you can also exploit atmo suits to make dupes not use oxygen. If their oxygen in the suit runs out, they will catch their breath if they can find oxygen, but will not consume any of it or expel CO2. So good for telescoping or drilling space missions, since it allows you to save oxygen.

Du könntest zb die Wasserdampf Antriebe verwenden hat ne höhere Reichweite und Platz als CO2 allerdings die Dampfleitung. Andere Möglichkeit wenn du eine Rakete in Orbit schickst Rover absetzt könntest du die Rakete zerstören du bekommst alle Rohstoffe und den Dub zu den nächsten Bebauten Asteroiden in ner Fluchtkapel gesendet

Go to the rocket control station and togle "Grounded" this will stop them from using the machines but will alow them to fill the storages and replace whatever is neeeded

It was damaged due to a gas other than oxygen being piped in. Make sure your gas line for the suits only has pure oxygen in it
