Visited there back in the early 2000s very interesting and a very nice place to stay. Spent a week walking around some of the cemeteries, very moving.

This is one of the better museums and the countryside around Albert is truly stunning. The enormity of the tragedy will stay with you forever.

I've been there twice. Truly an amazing museum, and I love Albert. Did a whole Remembrance trip in November 2023.

Thanks for posting this cool video. I really like the way you presented your experience there. I’m fascinated by WW1 so this will be added to my vacation destination list. I’d be curious to know how you compare it to other WW1 museums you’ve attended. I’ll be sure to check out your other videos. I think you would really enjoy the DMZ tour in South Korea near Seoul. They take you down into a captured NK invasion tunnel and take you right up to the underground invasion door labeled “North Korea”, beyond which the entire passage is wired to detonate if NK tries an invasion. It’s the coolest tour I’ve ever taken anywhere. This video reminds me of that space. I think you’d really like it.

The DMZ tour sounds fascinating! Hopefully we'll have the opportunity to visit South Korea and do the tour someday. The Somme museum was amazing due to its collection of battlefield objects and weapons. It doesn't have the fancy displays of someplace like the World War I museum in Kansas City, but it makes up for it with a wealth of unique artifacts.
