My mom was an extrovert, always the life of the party. My husband and I are both introverts. After a party or get-together, we actually drive home in complete silence lol!

Thank you for talking about your social battery & not feeling guilty. I needed that ❤
@elleneastwood7435 Жыл бұрын
I understand that guilty feeling when you're on a trip and you need downtime. But think of it this way, if you go too hard you'll wind up crashing and that's a trip ruiner.

I've learned the hard way that having a panic attack at least once every time I travel is way more of a 'time waster/bummer' than scheduling in introvert time

Looks like you all had such a fun trip! Seeing your Japan vlogs makes me miss it so much! The food there is so amazing! I will always dream about their food. 🤣 I hope you all get some much needed rest and recharge after you get home! Traveling is so much fun, but it truly can be mentally and physically exhausting!

Love the Mickey sunglasses!! When I was little I had these sunglasses where the lenses flipped up to clear glasses and was supposed to look like Mickey ears so these reminded me of my old ones a little

i think what you talk about experiencing could also be (or a combo of) "travel burnout". i'm very extroverted and experience that while traveling and have 10000% felt guilty about it.

I am curious how you navigate so well in a country that does not have English or English letters for their primary communication. Do you use solely Google translate or does someone in your group speak/read Japanese? Would love to hear about traveling with language barriers in a future vlog! ♥️♥️♥️
