Anyway. I don't care anymore but I used to have a large selection of saplings that I accidentally fed to the squirrels but still have a few left that I am enjoying taking care of.

Thank you Peter for the walk, the trees are all looking splendid so vibrant in the sunshine, I admire your able to remember so much about each tree, my memory now in my eighties is not so good, frustrating looking at my trees and having to refer to the labels or my written information, but I am convinced that bonsai is a big part of me living to such an age as I am sure it is the same for yourself.

It was great to see this in person recently, Peter. Thanks for the recommendation. Wisley is a fantastic garden made all the better by the 'avenue of bonsai'. We saw those large conifers in tubs on the ground and thought you must have been coming to do a demo soon using them as raw material. They weren't really going to plant them there like that were they?
@peterchan31006 ай бұрын
I am waiting to see what they do.
@rtregear6 ай бұрын
@@peterchan3100 I don't understand how the people who design and maintain Wisley could even think of planting a bunch of large shrubs in the middle of your magnificent trees.

I would love to get my hands on a Scot’s Pine. It’s strangle they are all over my area here on the south coast of Ireland but I’ve never found any seedlings. I’d love to get one! Yamadori of a few years old would be perfect.

Good afternoon Peter! I'm in the UK visiting. Will you be at the nursery tomorrow morning Wednesday 04 June? There were no workshops on the dates that I'm here 2 weeks and i wanted to speak to you as I follow your advice on Bonsai here on KZbin.

Such great trees! One major consideration if I may? Get the trees on small deck platforms. I don't like the look of the pot on top of a tree stump. Just looks amateurish. As a bonsai artist and potter, I want to see the complete composition on a solid surface. Think of an art gallery. Just my two cents. Thanks for sharing and letting me share!
@Stettafire5 ай бұрын
Yes lots of people commented something similar on the previous Wisely video. People were worried about the stability of the stumps

how do you secure the Bonsai from the wind
@peterchan31006 ай бұрын
The trees are supposed to be wired down to the stands, although not all of them are.
