I started going to Galco’s since the early 00’s, when I lived nearby, John Nese was always a sweet man willing to have a conversation about soda and he’d point you in the right direction, I didn’t go for maybe 10+ years, and last time I went John was a little old man and it broke my heart 😢 watching people get old, but it was so nice to see him even though his demeanor has changed a little bit, I get it, he’s tired, and he’s old, but he’s still a sweet old man.

I worked across the street from Galco's at the neighborhood McDonald's for 6 years from '84-'90...Galco's sandwiches were sooo good..I remember the owner's son had a DeLorean in the parking lot...

These classic beverages are just not available except from those specialty stores. I love the throwback brands.
