OMG! What a great surprise! Nothing like a neighbor taking care of their property that benefits you. Wow! Consider yourself lucky. 😊

Love that you view the pole as another planting opportunity.

You could always paint the rest of the pole a dark green so it could fade away a bit more

For red interest I’d recommend a royal purple smoke bush, beautiful purple leaves in spring and summer which turn scarlet and orange in fall

Yay, the pecan tree is no more! I was cracking up this morning because i bought the tapered candles you showed us and realized that they had turned on this morning and couldn't understand why. Then, as I reached for the candle remote to turn them off, your video became Kate's, from Hello Garden's, video. Yea, both remotes for my Fire TV and the candles must be on the same frequency. Crazy! Now I know why they were on during the night, they had turned on when I turned off my TV. I was relieved to figure out that I'm not losing my mind, yet😂

Pecan tree gone! 🥳 I absolutely love the progress you're making in your garden. All the evergreens are such good foundation plants. Love the choices! Thanks for taking us along on your garden journey ❤

What a great day. The plants you put in the ground will do wonderfully. But the cherry on top of the year for your garden was the removal of the Pecan tree.

Wohoo! The tree is gone, the tree is gone! 👏👏 happy dance. Now your garden can start to thrive in that area. Loving the evergreen additions. If nothing a attached to the pole any chance you can cut it down (with permission of course)?

Try a climbing hydrangea on the pole. Will take a few years though.

So happy for you and your garden, especially the willow, with the tree gone. Would you get in trouble if you painted the rest of the pole black? Doesn't look like there are wires running to it. Too bad you can't at least cut the top part off if you can't have it removed.

Just wondering if Georgia and Alabama have issues with aphids since so many pecans trees are grown in these two places.
