Thanks for this. Amazing video - what we missed on our hols... night landing and departure. And a great help seeing as Google Earth / Street View is rubbish for here. Excellent place for a holiday! No muzak is fine!

Done this approach 5 times. Love Crete, but as another comment says, the airport leaves a lot to be desired.

trinitysmate Yeah, it's fun, the beach is all sand with light blue water, there are many shops around, there are intercity buses, on which you can hop on for about 4-7 euros and they can take you almost to any part of the island, for me the most beautiful place to visit was Agios Nikolaos. And of course the greek food is awesome.

Cretes lovely& the people ....the airports horrendous No air con , too busy, like an oven full of tourists. Its €70 for 2 to go into the lounge. Just to be cool.
