Until these videos, I couldn't find a classroom slow enough for me to retain all this information. I am very grateful to finally be able to sit down and go at my own pace. Doing screen shots and taking notes as I go to reinforce the principles. I've taken 3 excel courses and couple of access. Go so *&*%$ fast I'm like wait what was that??? Oh I wish I could remember how to ... I know I saw that somewhere in the class.

Per Idris, if you took notes you'd be able to reference other variables and statements and see what happens. He's touched on a lot of areas, and I know it's leading up being able to apply what we need where we need it on our own.

The guy says "I encourage you to do it differenly then I did it so you can learn more about the programming". Learners can only use the way you taught them because they can't make up a method.

occasionally you can recombine what's been covered so far to a personal application, like I used the for loop step function to count how many laps it takes to mow a 30' section of yard.

because people generally dont like the syntax of VB.net .. it's RAD but it just doesn't have as much customization as languages such as c# or ++ or java.. people hate VB lol

@landon192 I would imagine because very few people code. They are too busy playing Call of Duty or listening to Justin Bieber if every video on KZbin is any indication.
