This was beautifully done! I just turned 40 (for real auntie over here lol) and this was so relatable in a lot of ways. I became a pro at pouring from an empty cup and had to take an extended break from everything. I’m glad you’ve made a habit of going off the grid when you need to. I absolutely how supportive your mom is . I’m so glad she was able to surprise you and have your friends and family show you some love. I know what it’s like to be in a slump and have your things in disarray (that’s me currently). Funny enough my birthday is Sunday and I’ve been saying I need to get my ish in order before then.
