Great Review. I would like to add the Courier Raider Vanity Shield gives the ship a scuffed up look, and for the Kelvin - that is perfect! I wish there was a shield like the assimilated but in say blue or white lights instead of the green. Subscribed to you now, good video!

For such a unusual design the kelvin actually does it well unlike some kit bashed extras in TNG and so on

Ah, The good ole reliable Einstein Class, The ship that served Starfleet well in both the Prime and Kelvin timeline. She’s a Beautiful Pre-Constitution Design, and a very decent looking Vessel, built during a time where older technologies took up spaces the size of a small building, she was built with a more ... utilitarian layout. Even though her Class wasn’t mentioned in the book, I believe that Captain Kirk’s First command, (this was James T. Kirk’s First command not George’s, just fyi,) The USS Sutherland, was an Einstein Class. Unfortunately that particular Vessel, (while under kirk’s Command,) Was Destroyed in 2263 During a “First contact gone Wrong.” There’s also another Non-Canon Vessel That was confirmed to be an Einstein Class in the Star Trek Novel “Federation: The first 150 years”, This Vessel was the USS Gates, A Surveyor that Robert T. April, The USS Enterprise’s First Captain, served on as a young officer. There is one canon vessel that is mentioned in Star Trek Discovery that I think Might be an Einstein Class, and it kinda makes sense given the name styles, That ship that i think might’ve been an Einstein is the USS Archimedes, This is the Vessel that Philippa Georgiou served on as a lieutenant, and she is also the ship that made First contact Openly with the Ba’ul and Secretly The Kelpiens with the meeting of Lt. Georgiou and Saru. The Archimedes is named after a scientist, similar to the USS Einstein, (The class Lead,) The USS Gates, and The USS Kelvin, it is logical to assume that The Archimedes is Also an Einstein Class Vessel and thus followed the same Name-Style.

Christopher Wood nope, The ship also served starfleet in the prime timeline, we know this because the destruction of the USS Kelvin was the divergence point for the timeline.

@@Kreachie I sorta have to disagree. Unlike the circumstances that resulted in Enterprise (series) looking the way it does because of First Contact, there is very little to show that the Kelvin was a Prime Universe design but rather a distinct universe version (think in terms of 'Yesterday's Enterprise but take 2 steps). Maybe the Kelvin exists in prime... but with different all together...?

Christopher Wood I think the Einstein class starship does fit in canon, very well between NX and Constitution, but whatever floats your boat i guess.

I agree. The Kelvin is my second favorite Trek Ship design. It fits well with the Prime and Kelvin Timeline. However it doesn't fit very well with the Discovery Timeline (Given that the Discovery timeline ships don't fit with Pre-2017 Prime or Kelvin Timeline).

Congratulations on the winning. It is a real nice looking ship. I just didn't have the heart to gamble & lose for this lock box so I skipped. Excellent segue to the gameprint offering lol. Yeah, on the side the letter/number for registry seems miss-aligned with the circular definitions spaced-out for it.

Looks like most of the shields were rushed. It's the only ship I have seen in game that Reman shield skins don't look good on. And the registry lights should probably be deleted.
