Don't get me wrong here, this animation was good, but it didn't really explain anything, I know what cross product is so I can definitely tell that this doesnt add to any way in explaining it any better. seems like many of these are made just for the sake of it

Can someone please explain, if you can how the length of a vector, which is 1D “a line” (length of cross product vector) can be equal to the area which is 2D (2d space includes more information width and length)?

the cross product is by construction an operation which takes two vectors and spits out a third vector perpendicular to the two vectors. This also has the property that the parallelogram (as shown in the video), that lies in the plane of the two vectors, is equal to the absolute value of the perpendicular vector. Hope this makes more sense!
