in the first examples vector C starts at the start of A then ends at the end of B, while in the second example you start at end of B and go to start off A. I'm a bit confused... I think you reversed your C and -C in the second example, am I right?

+Jason Hall (Imheroldman) No, in the second example, look at the C arrow, by default, it's in the wrong direction ! So A + B not equals to C ! But A + B = - C ! The "-" sign behind the C reverse the direction of the C vector.

Hey! Quick question - is it also possible to visualize functions that are treated like vectors?
@alexsmit98529 жыл бұрын
+Merthalophor Yes, you can give a name to a vector, but it will still be the same vector.

Alex Smit uuh... you sure you understood my question?

Merthalophor f(x) = , visualize f(x). What's there not to understand?

what is the direction of vector c ?
@asharibimran56456 жыл бұрын
in the first example its positive and in second its negative
@musaimran77038 жыл бұрын
ummm. the last example.. but if we make vector c negative doesnt it go on the opposite side.. ie. 180degrees ... and a+b=-c .. no man.. cuz this means a+c=-a??
@asharibimran56456 жыл бұрын
its right bcz -c is used as a resultant vector so it is possible to say that a+b=-c

I think that there is a mistake in example 2 about the positive or negative (C), I believe that he reversed it, Am I Right?
