taanpura..khol/tabla esraj and voice..that is how rabindrasangeet will be played with. there is something that should not be changed. I remember s watching this when I was 10 years in mid 80s.....in Durodorshon..well it was anticipited for days and the whole community came to the tv...... These days people sing rabindrasangeet with synth bass guiter...and drums!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry...maybe we should keep something as it is....call me whatever for saying this.
