Rekkles is an ADC suspended in time. His game is stable all the time the same for a decade. Sometimes he succeeds, sometimes he doesn't, but most of the time he won't even try because he probably doesn't even understand the possibilities of his role, which has changed over the decade. He probably has his diva moments but from what all the people who play with him say it's mostly about his playstyle - he doesn't want to adapt to the team, he doesn't want to play anything outside of his comfort zone and basically everything the G2 players have been talking about. Upset is a "cool-looking" ADC that will sometimes work out. The problem is that this "sometimes" requires a perfectly matched meta, a perfectly matched team that will sacrifice everything for him and a perfect alignment of stars in the sky. When any element does not fit perfectly for him, he will do absolutely nothing (as in yesterday's series). In addition, he is a typical diva convinced of his greatness and probably the next team will implode because of him. In short, both are garbage. Except that one has a history of success, and the other has a history of drama. It's good that two or three more seasons and both of them will only appear at the analysis table.

Thats curious , 10X sounds like a huge exageration , Upset is definetly better theres no discussiom there. Also their style is completly different , Rekkles likes to scale by farming and then grouping while Upset plays alot more for lane and scales through teamfighting , you can argue depending on how their team plays both styles can work effectively. Personally i like Upset's style better , its more proactive and will get you more advantages early , Rekkles style puts alot more pressure on the topside to carry early while he scales into inifinity , which sometimes puts Fnatic a bit behind because their topside inst really that coordinated yet.

I think he says it well, if you compare them from a carry perspective then Upset will solo win you games way more than Rekkles would. But Rekkles is more willing to let other teammates shine and be a "2nd" carry who doesnt ask for many resources but will always be relevant in teamfights. Both can be very useful in different teams, but given the botlane meta having an Upset is prob more valuable for most teams atm.

yep, no one is denying that Upset is not better than Rekkles, is just that people make it seem like Rekkles is literally worst ADC in the world, that even an iron 4 adc will shit on him, say whatever u want about Rekkles fans but Rekkles haters are on another level entirely, they literally watch every single game that Rekkles plays in , only to hate on him, go on videos about Rekkles to leave hate comments, leaving literally over 20/30 comments on a single video, they have some brain problems for sure

It took Ruler 7 years to win an LCK title, despite having won worlds. Its a 5v5 game, just comparing titles is the lowest form of engagement. Rekkles has played competitive LoL for over a decade. He has 4 titles, the most recent one being 5 years ago. I guess Yellowstar has a better career with his 5 titles despite not being part of the league for ages, nevermind the fact that his titles are nearly a decade old.

Thats the thing u guys dont understand about ADC. The best adc will ALWAYS have a great support on thier side. Was and will always be like that in leauge. Upest is a really good adc, he and Kaiser are just worse then Crownie and Lebrov.

Of course it depends on support but upset is always just seen as a single piece which is "outstanding" when in reality he is only that good when matched with a really good support. And right now just looking at the individual level I would place crownie and kobbe above him. Especially kobbe played both splits super well and often got dragged down by his team

IDK i didnt like fnc with upset tbh they put wayyyy too much focus on botlane even though they had humanoid who already showed everyone that he can be by far the best midlaner in euw... A lot of people always praise upset but honestly i think there is a reason he never won a title. But we will see right now he is on the team with the strongest players on every role individually (arguable) so if he is still unable to win anything its really hard not to feel like he is overrated
