Somewhere out there me and dad are watching. My beloved, so beloved, and madly desperately missed, Dad, was born in Italy. He loved America and we were there to see the Italian American "Baby Joe" Joe Mesi. There were so many Ukrainians with their yellow and blue and flags. A particularly riotous and large group near us formed a ukranian Italian alliance with us. They cheered for mesi and we for Klitschko. But something we really were delighted about, we didnt know anybody on the undercard really and we saw Paulie Malignaggi. We were thrilled he won and some time after he won his fight he had actually come to our section of MSG as there were some of his friends sitting near us. Nobody noticed Paulie but I did and I pointed it out to my dad. Back then Paulie was unknown and pretty humble seeming. After this card it wasnt long before paulie became pretty popular on his own and dad was always fond of him and following his career. Miss you dad !!!!
