I remember riding windmill back in the late 2000's, when you would have to organize your own shuttles. It used to take 14+ minutes top to bottom on Full DH bikes.

In the semi-vintage days of Windrock (2015-2017) this trail would send someone to the hospital nearly every weekend. Still one of the gnarliest trails I’ve ever ridden

We're gonna start seeing some of these kids who grew up with this appearing at the pro level. I'm from PA, but between Windrock, Jarrod's Place and all the other spots popping up in the Southeast, it's some of the gnarliest terrain there is and I see a lotta kids ripping.

@@topspot4834 agreed. There were kids riding Windrock back when I rode that are at the top of the game right now in their region and nationally. It’s a cool thing to look at finisher lists for races and recognizing names

i mean he's averaging 15 miles per hour on a dh bike.. not doing that on an xc trail mate. trail descends 2000 ft in less than 2 miles
