Very nice video, John. These slow motion videos really accentuate how much the rear suspension is affected by braking. There are times where the rear looks to be completely locked out. I know it's a very difficult problem/balance that bike designers are working with but you can see that there are a lot of gains to be made in that area.

It's one of the major disadvantages of high pivots IMO. Floating brake arms were around back in the day. Perhaps due for a comeback?
