He is actually famous. He sings the Clean vocals in the band Dance Gavin Dance (my favorite band of all time. You should check them out, he does an amazing job in the band

It's brothers, not lovers. So in that context, I think it's about two really good friends who now can't get along or be in the same room.

"Endless brothers". I'm 9 years late but I interpret it like a relationship where you butt heads and end up in conflict like brothers when it's supposed to be a loving partnership instead.
