@@daniak6699 As someone who is naturally thin and healthy and won't gain much weight unless I eat junk food and tons of sugar every single day, I find the controversial around Dr Dray's weight very unfair and hurtful. @Popicat5273 жыл бұрын
@@daniak6699 we don't know what she's dealing with in her private life. Her weight shouldn't make her controversial as long as she doesn't claim that everyone should be like her (which she doesn't). The thing I always wonder is wether it may actually be a bad thing to lower the amount of melanin in our skin. It seems that almost all commonly used actives, retinoic acid, ascorbic acid, niacinamide, licorice extract, sunscreen etc, they all in different ways reduce the amount of melanin. And I wonder wether that's a good thing, because melanin is also beneficial for skin, it may only provide an SPF3, but still it doesn't degrade or rub off like sunscreen, it protects the skin cells, has an antioxidant benefit. Very pale skin is more sensitive to uv radiation. Wouldn't it be more beneficial to find ingredients that actually stimulate melanin production?
