Anyone know where I can get a new disc drive for my 30000 series PS2? 2 years ago I tried getting it fixed at a nearby computer store (whom had a fellow retro gamer working for them at the time) and many trips had to be made. First I thought the console just needed a new laser, and I did also find them a fix for loss of CD playback. Then after an eventual failure, I suggested other fixes, like a new arm and white lithium grease, but while those did seem to fix it at first, the console ceased working again shortly afterwards. Anyone know where I can get a new disc drive for my series 30000 console? My SCPH-5552 PlayStation 1 also needs a new disc drive as well. Thanks.

Если у этой модели есть цифра 8 на конце, то почему в биосе нет русского языка? Для России же поставляли такие модели.

потому что на нее установлено П.О которое выходило только в америке под названием HDD OSD,оно не содержит русского языка,и по сути грузится вместо BIOS с внутреннего жесткого диска

Gavin The Crafter you can get one for under $50. But it matters on what model you get. Examples: ps2 slim will be around $20-$40 depending on the care. The ps2 fat model will be around $20-$60 also depending on the care.
