If the movie had the same depth as this explanation video, Devara and Vara could've been iconic characters like Baahubali and Shivudu. However, the not so interesting screenplay and some writing missteps ( especially the whole thangam track ) left it feeling half baked. Not sure if it's the PAN Indian pressure or something else, but it missed the mark. That said, kudos to vithincine for the amazing micro details mentioned in the video.
