Yamal had the exact debut and now gets started every game. Sure you can say Yamal is better but we've barely even seen Roque to prove that. Now they want to loan him and I'm sure that's not what he agreed upon. This must be a take made to be controversial because almost everyone is on the side of the agent and Roque.

However, the issue is his game time has been very limited. 11 games where you're available and sometimes needed but the coach refuses to put you on isn't a good look. Xavi killed any momentum he had going before his ban by barely playing him after. Now they're trying to loan him out and that's obviously not what the club promised him. Should he just accept this because he's young? Of course not. Also, in the age of seeing young players like Cubarsi, Gavi, Yamal and Fermin continuously get chances to show their ability, we can't just use the old excuse of "he's young so he needs to wait and take his time". The club is basically focusing on young Spanish la masia products and seasoned veterans like Gundogan and Lewandowski. Its evident Roque is suffering because of that.

Kinda hard to do so when you got Lewandowski. Vitor is really young, and Lewandowski will leave either this season or next season. Vitor should understand his role at the club. I don’t know what he was told when signing the contract, but it was obvious he’s a backup player to Lewandowski, hoping to learn from him so he can take over and replace Lewy when he leaves. Vitor Roque’s move to Barcelona so far has been a nightmare for both parties. His situation has been very bad to the point where his agent came out and publicly said that his client is ready to leave the club on a permanent basis this summer 4 months after joining the club not even leaving on a loan. This is supposed to be the future of your club, Robert Lewandowski’s replacement in the long run, but so far he isn’t even playing let alone sitting on the bench. For some reason Xavi just doesn’t want to play him and whether he doesn’t fit the system or has an issue with the manager, he’s been frozen out of the team just rotting the bench. Even when they had injuries in the attack, he still couldn’t get a game. He’s only started just 2 games for them. Xavi prefers Lewandowski over him and other forwards are ahead of him in the pecking order. I really hope that this doesn’t happen with Endrick at Real Madrid where they sign him only for him to be warming the bench with the manager not picking him. We’ve seen that with Arda Guler, at Real Madrid he’s not getting game time in significant minutes and the only reason why he’s played more lately is because they won the league and they’re thinking about the champions league. Carlo Ancelotti has a point when he says that as the manager his job is to win games not give certain players minutes as the manager is the one making the decisions it can be controversial, but they’re doing everything in their power to win games and they have to pick the right players for that. If they’re still relying on Lewandowski and assuming Joao Felix returns to Atletico Madrid and they sign Nico Williams and Bernardo Silva in an attack that has Lamine Yamal Raphinha and Ferran Torres, the situation won’t change next season. Unlike other young players (Pedri and Gavi), they’re not overplaying them, Roque isn’t playing at all. A better solution for this situation is possibly loan him out or maybe try to play him more because you don’t know what to about it.

He wants players that are going to quickly understand the club, rather than someone coming from another country/league and has to adjust to the club and Europe. I don’t know if both the Client (Vitor Roque) and his agent discussed this or not but honestly the agent should know better. Football is played differently in every continent and country, some quickly adapt and others take longer to adapt. Moving from club to club in the same league isn’t always that easy let alone from a Brazilian club that plays with more chaos and talent exhibition than the European positional and organizational play. At 16-19 realistically will see you bring out of the Youth Team. The reason why Pau Curbasi is playing regularly these days is due to how Barça are short in some departments and he hasn’t been bad ever since he made his debut. Some people will say Xavi likes the Spaniards and Catalans but the truth might be that these other guys are just not putting in their best yet. Sometimes it’s so unfair to Vitor that he has to sit all through the 90+ minutes even if Lewandowski isn’t doing well or has score a hat trick and the game has been won. In moments like that when you are leading by 2 goals or when Lewandowski isn’t at his best, bring in the boy give him the chance to develop his skills and understanding of the Barcelona system. At the end of it all, the agent should’ve been silent and encourage Roque to work extra hard if he wants to succeed at Barcelona or any other club in Europe or the rest of the world. It’s not too late to get him a new club but that will be a risky decision cos it may turn out to be a genius idea or a dumb idea. Patience pays and if you stand up work hard and show so much fight, you’ll soon be another Vinicius Jr, Lamine Yamal, Bukayo Saka or any other efficient and promising youngster.

They haven't been fair to him. He has barely played and never played in La Liga before this. He scored 2 goals in limited play. He is young and needs to be give a chance. Yamal barely scores a goal and assists and yet he has played the 2nd most of the front line behind Lewandowski. Not sure why he gets so much playing time? He doesn't produce. People love him because he has a few fancy dribbling runs that never produce anything. He has the lowest goal to minutes ratio of anyone on the front line. Xavi does give precedent to La Masia players. He just needs to give this kid the same opportunity as he does the others.

Before y'all talk about Roque not performing, how many chances have been given to him? How many games has he been allowed to play up to 45 mins. If you bring in a young talent, for that much money, with all the financial crisis with the club, you have a duty to get your money's worth. All his manager is saying is that the lad needs more play time to show Barca what he can do. And you must understand the frustration from his manager. Roque was doing very well in Brazil, until Barca literally forced him to leave early. Just to keep him on the bench. It's insulting. I'd do thesame if I was his manager.
