My old paramotor instructor used to always say: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it", and to a degree you can get away with this approach. Then again, it really sucks when your motor breaks down because you never did the maintenance. Nice vid!

You are the man! Do you own a micrometer to measure the thickness of the bottom gasket?
@AveryFlies4 ай бұрын
A digital caliper, yes

Is there a waiting period to match that head gasket? The one you said was .3 measurement. You mentioned hours so do you have to wait for it to “decompress” or something before measuring and choosing its match?
@AveryFlies3 ай бұрын
No, no wait, just matched and done.

Just curious. No judgment but I didn't see a lot of cleaning going on during the 100 hour. Do you do that at the 50 hour? Things I'm thinking of are spraying out the carburetor with brake cleaner cleaning the head in the Piston?

I sprayed the cylinder and head with some brake cleaner, but overall very clean to begin with

On the pulley, yes, you're right. I have it and will replace it if it starts to sound bad. That's the weird part about ppg maintenance, nothing is legally required. I will probably change it the next time I change the bely
