I have mentioned it on several videos latex tubes bleed off too much pressure during my rides to be a suitable option.

Super interesting thanks for sharing. I’m pretty happy on TPU tubes at the moments.

I had similar with some WTB Sorrento gravel tyres. It took a couple of rides for the walls to seal, but they did seal, and all is good still a couple of years later (with multiple sealant changes per service schedule). I'm sticking with tpu tubes for road. They've been great this year. 1 pinch flat (my fault riding up a curb with them under inflated) with 8000km ridden.

Me too! I’ve had the same issues with WTB gravel tyres as well, they had Air liners inside too . In the end it stopped after I added enough sealant. The tyres have been fine since.

I've used the Vittoria liners with Pirelli TLR Race tyres for over a year now. First with Vittoria sealant (their bottle screws onto the valve) and more recently with Muc-Off sealant. All good

Tell me about removing the tire with the liners in there? Have you ever tried to remove the tire out on the road to put a tube in? The only way I can get the tire off is with the tire pliers that Vittoria sells. Thanks for watching please consider subscribing

Sorry about the sweating sidewall. I think it's the sealant. I normally use Stans but that has happened the one time I used muc off sealant and the one time I used Vittoria sealant. I got a Vittoria corsa speed tire in a black wall that I set up with Stans and I never had an issue with that tire.

I had same experience with Vittoria tubeless tires, wanted so bad for them to work but gave up, moved to GP5k STR and never looked back, too bad
@patrickparisienne1917 Жыл бұрын
Do the tyres need to be ridden in order to spread the sealant around the inner carcass?

Ive had problem like this, not enough sealant…

having the same problem with the corsa pro, leaking little air from the sidewall. Mine loses about 20-30 psi overnight, 70ml poured inside a 26c.Rim tape and the valve are totally fine
@SeeYouUpTheRoad7 ай бұрын
It eventually stops losing pressure. But please put more sealant in because some of the sealant is now stuck on the sidewalls and isn’t liquid any more to seal up punctures.

Latex or tpu is so simple :)
@SeeYouUpTheRoad Жыл бұрын
Yes for some riders. Latex has too much pressure loss for my rides. TPU is too expensive and fragile.

You do know that Vittoria tires need ammonium-free sealant, right? The ammonium in Stan's and many other sealants reacts with the cotton carcass, it's literally one of the first sentences in the user manual of the Corsa Pros 🤷🏼♂

You do know that I used the Vittoria sealant provided right? It’s one of the first things I said. 🤷♂️

@@SeeYouUpTheRoad I used the orange seal sealant, works perfectly fine.

George isn’t really a fan of tubeless tires. If you go to some of his old videos , he’ll explain why . His channel is purely educational purposes. That’s he’s using his bike as a Guinea pig for viewers to make better purchasing decisions. He’s not sponsored by anyone.

It's weird when you hear marginal gains and most riders don't get any benefit from 90% of the technology because of lack of fitness and ability and bodyweight. Cycling is losing ground and pushing people towards E-bikes and gravel because people are either sick of expensive useless new gimmick tech, floored by retail prices or going gravel because it looks less technical and more inviting.. meanwhile there will be 100 KZbin videos on aero frames or tire pressure and 99.9% of the people could get the same by losing 5 pounds
@SeeYouUpTheRoad Жыл бұрын
You’re so money! Yes you are correct so much of this is all smoke and mirrors. I do these videos because people ask my opinion about this tech and that tech. But you’re right most people can and should lost 5, 10, even 50 pounds before looking at all this tech and $14,000 S-Works.
