Vittorio Grigolo - "Caruso" ECHO Klassik Award 2011

Performing "Caruso" from his new album "Arrivederci" released on Sony Classical at the ECHO Klassik Awards, Berlin. Vittorio was the recipient of the "Newcomer of the Year award 2011" which he dedicated to the memory of his friend and fellow Tenor, Salvatore Licitra.

What a wonderful rendition! I do wish he a abit more support through out his range and especially in his softer passages. However, when he opens up that throat and lets that voice out--sheer heaven! And he can work an audience just like his mentor, the great Pavarotti----makes me miss Pava all the more, but I'm betting this young man is going to be world famous!
