Yeah, the story is kinda? Like there are some things where as a viewer ur like "why? This isn't even fun to watch" (mostly surrounding 1 specific character but I don't want to seem rude rn) lol but every scene w/ Yeri in it was worth it to me 🤩 besides my bias I find her character the most intriguing cuz she has so many of her own secrets & knows so many other's.

@@devstructionFirst two episodes, I’m already so nervous for her 😅. But yeah, she’s such a bitch. But she’s tough though, and shows her vulnerability very rarely. I like where the series turned into. Kim Hye-in really got “deja vu” if you know what I mean. I thought Oh Sie-un and Do-eon were right, turns out it was really Yul-hee.

I'm glad you liked it so much! I loved the mystery aspect about it. Makes me feel like we NEED a season 2 it's more than just a want 😂 Anyways if you liked this one can I recommend Yeri's last drama before this? It's called Blue Birthday & it also has a murder mystery thing going on but it also deals w/ some heavier subjects in a very respectful way. It's one of the best written dramas I've ever seen. & I mean in the whole world - not just kdramas.

ikr i hate how her character always have this "in rich people's world, someone like me will have no hard time fitting in" like girl let's be real, rich people are different from low and mid class, that's a harsh reality (though, not always applicable since there are also rich people who are good people). Because of that, she keeps getting into trouble and she keeps making the same mistake like I'm so over her.

Yeah honestly during her parts I wanted to fast forward but I didn't incase it was important to the story. She was so annoying I ended up feeling bad for the actress because I didn't want to project my feelings for the character onto her. This girl literally created her own problems & then whined about them. Reminds me of that Penthouse drama. So dumb. I wondered if her character is supposed to be an example to the kind of people who always complain about stuff & blame others when it's their own actions that landed them where they are. That all being said I still found the rest of the show entertaining. The other characters were interesting & intriguing enough on their own. The mystery aspect is good too. I enjoy how the characters don't know who did it so we don't know either. It's fun to theorize. & it feels like the drama is nowhere near done even tho s1 is over. I'm hoping for a season 2

It's true. When I read the synopsis of this drama, this mean, rich and on top of the world Queen Bee suits Joy more than Yeri (Joy in Peekaboo era) but the more I watch the series, the more Yeri improved. She is good for a novice. Some people just can't see her good points and always criticize because she joined the group late. As the OP said, she indeed still lack some skills, but she is improving fast, faster than Joy did when she started acting. She's come really far from that Ice Cream Cake era kiddo. Kiddos to her

Love watching Yeri's performance, but the scriptwriting for Baek Je Na's character is really bad because of how inconsistent it is: 1) It's really not clear at all what her exact attitude towards the poor is. Assuming she hates them, it can't be only because of her dad's relatively recent betrayal of her mom, since she appears to have been averse to poor people since childhood. And if her dad WAS poor(er) before marrying her mom, and her mom was open-minded enough to accept him, then it's weird for her to be raised with such prejudice towards the poor. If it's because she's encountered too many poor people who've tried to manipulate and extort her, then it's weird how quickly she warms up to Kim Hye In - almost as though Kim Hye In is some especially pure character she's never encountered before (which she isn't) who magically changes her mind. 2) For someone who is supposed to be the school's Queen Bee, she definitely doesn't carry a fitting persona. Not once is she portrayed as someone interested power or influence - she seems quite socially naive, in fact - and her persona is too blur/passive/reactive and not decisive/firm enough to really control and manipulate people. The fact that Kim Hye In got away with beating her up twice says enough. Judging from how she chose the most tactless way to reveal the secret, she also has poor political skills. I think the scriptwriters don't realise how you also need a bit more than just money to sit atop the school social hierarchy.

Yeah, I agree the Queen Bee thing. They scriptwriter really missed that one. When I read the synopsis I thought she gonna act like 'The Penthouse' kids super annoying but we can see they give off super rich & untouchable aura. Baek Jena here although her face expression is on point but she don't give off the Queen Bee aura because of the scriptwriting. The way she revealed the truth in this video kinda mid tbh. It's not as impactful as I hoped for.
