I just watched the first CKY film and CKY2K again the other day and the whole time I was like "These guys were doing in 1999 what everyone else is trying to do now". They pioneered the style of videos a lot of people do now, from the pranks to the skits, all of it. Nowadays if you had never heard of these guys or CKY and you watched those films it wouldn't hit that hard until you realize it was 23 years ago, before KZbin, before Vine, Instagram, TikTok, before ALL of that there was the CKY crew. I wonder what those platforms would be like if the CKY crew didn't pioneer that particular style of video.

Anyway, watching VLB and CKY kind off gets sadder for each passing year to be honest. Especially with the state Bam is in. He will most likely never be the same ever again unless he takes rehab seriously and accepts that he needs help. I can't really wrap my head around his decline. He could've been so much.
