I like what Bath & Body Works has done with these luxury body sprays. They lasted quite a while for a body spray and did an excellent job on the fragrance. I think my favorites are pink-obsessed, Viva Vanilla, and floral fantasy.

I love viva vanilla i bought 4 lol but i dont care for gourmand scents or super vanilla scents so Viva vanilla is great to me its supposed to be a dupe for vanilla vice by sniff which they smell pretty close,,,,,love your reviews girl keep em coming 😊😊😊

Yeah, I just tried the two mixed. It freshens up the vanilla a lot. Try it with Cody vanilla musk; It's perfect. They complement each other. And because Cody vanilla musk is a cologne, it will last longer touch up with your body spray.

Mary... I gave my Kayali Vanilla 28 to my 18 Yr old daughter. It was soooo eye watering strong. I too am a vanilla ho but my favorite it's Vanilla Fields, Vanillary by Lush and Trish McAvoy Vanilla. But I dare not discriminate.... glad you reviewed this new one from bbw!! Have a great one!!

I sprayed Viva vanilla and all I got was rubbing alcohol and a little vanilla. Sprayed it again same thing so I put it back. Wrapped in Vanilla is a true vanilla scent and one of the best vanillas they came out with. I didn’t care for any of the everyday luxuries mists all were blah 😑 lol

Thanks for being so upbeat! I remember commenting before on this fragrance. I agree with you wrapped in vanilla and vanilla bourbon great! For my chemistry the fresh vanilla blossoms works really well on me I loved that one!! This one Viva satin slippers. I even waited for the dry down on Viva vanilla. Nope not for me. I understand these are dupes. I'm sure BBW made viva to be similar to something High end perfume wise. I used to work for bath & Body works and I remember when they launched wrapped in vanilla it was my favorite! 😊👍🌞

I usually agree with you on vanilla scents but I am not getting the boozy note in Viva Vanilla, I get more of a spicy note. My Cozy Vanilla Bourbon is actually very strong in the bourbon. It’s one of my favorites and I’ve bought several back ups. I can’t say which one I like more Viva Vanilla or Cozy Vanilla Bourbon. I love them both. To me, Viva Vanilla is a combo of Snif Vanilla Vice and Vanilla 28. Both are spicy vanillas. I definitely don’t get Eilish from it. Vanilla 28 is one of the best vanillas fragrances ever created. I keep a minimum of at least three bottles at all times. It literally layers with anything.

I had a feeling that Viva Vanilla was overhyped. Thanks for keeping it real. If you love Eilish, you MUST get Lattafa Nebras. It’s similar to Eilish, but on steroids and more gourmand. It smells to me like chocolate mousse with whipped cream and a sprig of fresh mint on the top.

UPDATE: I got my shipment of mists. And I have to admit that I DO love Viva Vanilla. I get a spicy vanilla, but not so much gourmand. It reminds me of Jolly Gingerbread Village, as far as the scent category. So I do enjoy it and think it smells “yummy,” but I can see how someone wanting like a vanilla cake or cream type of scent would be disappointed. Viva Vanilla lasts forever on me though, which was another surprise.

Hey Mary, I got this yesterday. It's very amber heavy. I thought it was just me not smelling much vanilla. I do like it & it reminds me of Ballet Nights. I prefer Ballet Nights more due to the more prominent plum & vanilla. I think I'll layer it with others to pump up the notes. Tfs Mary ❤

I had to blind buy these scents because none of my stores had them. I ordered 4 viva vanilla because I saw where people were comparing it to vanilla 28, and I wanted to get backups just in case B&BW didn’t bring it back like they are doing with wrapped in vanilla. Totally agree. When I first saw them comparing to Billy Eillish I was like NOOO!!! Right away I knew they didn’t smell the same. I’ve also seen it compared to Vanilla Vice and Mod Vanilla. I don’t have VV so can’t speak for that but if it does smell like it then glad to find out now so I don’t buy that one. As for the Mod Vanilla, I’ve smelled it in the store but didn’t purchase it….from what I remember, it kinda does smell similar. It’s got that airy quality to it in the background. To my nose it’s giving me AG Cloud in the way background which I’m so tired of that perfume DNA. It makes sense since Mod Vanilla is an Ariana Grande perfume. I guess if you don’t like gourmand vanillas, then you’ll like this. I personally prefer the gourmand ones.

Another Canadian here and I'm actually happy to hear that this one is a bit disappointing so I don't feel as though im missing too much. When I called the store I was told that they may have them in the fall or winter line up. I'll happily stick with my other various vanillas that I adore like Kayali vanilla 28 and several indie house ones that are super unique. I may have to order in some of the other ones from the US BBW site though because I don't want to wait an entire season to try them. Thanks Mary! I'm glad I have my cozy vanilla bourbon.

I did order from the us site on the sale yes I had to pay duty but I really wanted 4 of them. I absolutely adore 2 of them. If you’re thinking of ordering I would. Canada likely won’t be getting them. Pink Obsessed and the Roses one is incredible. The vanilla one is okay and Oh Cherry is a bit of a disappointment. It’s more like a perfume not gourmand. Doesn’t last too long.

I'm not saying it's an exact dupe, but it's probably a 7.5 out of 10. I think between Cody vanilla musk and Viva vanilla. In my opinion, Cody's vanilla musk smells like a soft Billie Eilish. Viva vanilla has that musk note and powder vanilla note, which smells like Cody vanilla musk. I bet this would be one you could layer, and they would probably complement each other. Cody vanilla musk doesn't have all the depth of Viva vanilla, but it has a similar smell and makeup on the main scent notes. When spraying them, I get DNA close to a sister's fragrance between the two, not exactly a 7.5 out of 10.

I bought it ar the 2022 winter SAS and do like it. To me it's a light floral scent with the lily petals, don't get any ginger but a little soft fig and wood. Staying power is not strong but I do wear after its matching shower & lotion and a perfume oil from Etsy called Trumpet Lily . I like the softness of the collection,not offensive.

Hi Mary! I would love to see you do a video of your vanilla recommendations. I can't remember if you did. Sad this collection has not made it to Canada. Not sure if it will make it. It's annoying when BBW does this. Everything should be available in all stores. For example Iced Lemon Pound Cake in the body care was only available as an online exclusive in the U.S. It was not available in Canada at all in the body care until now. I finally picked up Iced Lemon Pound Cake in store in the mist as of recent. Who knows it may be delayed appearing in other stores. Luckily, I have so much to enjoy in my collection. This has the same notes as Ballet Nights. It’s not as sweet as BN though and it just smells ….off maybe unbalanced vanilla bourbon. It’s too boozy with zero sweetness to round it out. This vanilla ho was disappointed!

Cover your basics first BBW. If you can get a thousand strange combinations of various scent notes, you should be able to get a pure vanilla scent or a pure jasmine scent. If apple couldn't figure out how to make calls work right on the iphone, but still had all the other bells and whistles, it wouldn't be popular. Gotta get the basics down first.
