As you face the water, it's to your left, about 10 to 15 feet deep. Maybe 100 yards away from shore. Still within the property of the hotel. You do not go past the rock jetty.

The hotel never knew that there was a thriving and growing reef in front of their hotel! We want to return soon - with gear next time - to do detailed exploring...... and maybe get rid of that lionfish!

It's the Bahamas, Warm! Since I was snorkeling, I was not wearing my dive computer so I don't know the temperature. However, I wore a lightweight rashguard.
