Been a fan since the 90s. However viva la bam is one of my favorite shows. I recently purchased all seasons of Jackass, Wildboyz, Viva la Bam, Cky, Jackass the movies, ect...cost me almost 400$ but to me they are priceless memories and good times. There is no 'official' word on why. I believe he stopped showing up on Radio Bam back in 2009, and no word on his relation or any interaction with Bam since. I do know Dico liked staying behind the scenes and is well known to be an introvert. He even said he hated flying or leaving Westchester in general. Didn't like being around Jackass as much because it felt too 'Hollywood'. I believe they just grew out of each other. Bam went and did his thing with Jackass and music, and Dico did his thing with Cattlebag, along with Rake.

if you watch the earlymost episodes of Viva la Bam, Vito is actually quiet (mostly), and doesn't really get involved. He progresses and gets worse throughout the show. I'm sure once he freaked out and the producers saw people like it, they chided the cKy crew to provoke him more, and offered Vito a good sum to do it more. By the fifth season, his freakout are a regular part of the show...one of the best parts!
