The second movement (Largo) transports me in the inner canals of ancient Venice. I hear the cry of a girl in love while it filters through the shutters closed. I hear the echoes of her sobs as they bounce on the still water and on the facades of nearby buildings, looking for the outlet to the sea and forgetfulness.
