What if you added rubber or some kind of material to the top of the tubes, that way you have more umph from the tubes and less sound of rubber hitting plastic

That was brilliant, I went from watching a video of yours from 6 years ago to watching this. For all the people out there who I have seen play this instrument you are by far the best. The music itself is great but the way you create a performance which makes it more then just music, well what can I say its just incredible. An instant sub from me, and I wish you the best of luck in your future theatrical/musical endeavours! I have always been told that instrument is called a thongafone. I am Australian so I can understand that people from other countries might think "Why do you have thong in the name!". Its because the paddles or whatever you hit the pvc pipes with look like a thong aka flip flops, pluggers or whatever you call the little plastic shoe things.)

Really great performance as usual. You can tell you guys practiced a lot together. Too bad they put the mics above the paddles as they often do. It seems quite obvious the sound comes from below but maybe that's just me.
