One of the first recordings that allowed me to fully appreciate the importance of the performance, and not just the composers great work. This should still be considered the benchmark performance of The Four Seasons, in my humble opinion.

But this is Iona brown, not the classic Alan loveday version. It’s very good but less fantasy than loveday. And the continuo is less imaginative
