Can every work of a composer be so distinguished and wonderful? If that composer is A. Vivaldi (1678-1741) it is possible. 👏

This re-upload actually surprised me... Anyway, marvellous work @DelVivaldi!

Thanks for posting! There are a number of very good recent online videos of this concerto, but for the cadenzas Carmignola has effective and tasteful articulations, dynamics and tempo variations, compared with rather "mechanical" playing elsewhere. This CD has outstanding versions of other solo concertos, including RV 199 (except for a surprising crescendo start).

Many good versions, although I'm not sure if credit goes where it's due if I just grab the audio from KZbin musicians. So records it is, most of the time. I would like very much to have Carmignola's version of RV 212 here, but the manuscript is quite illegible. But my friend, the RV 199 that I love is on the other CD, "Le humane passioni", not these "Solennità" concertos. ... Unless you have a box set?

@@DelVivaldi You're right! Same group but a different CD. Sorry for the confusion. Of course CD's are better to use here.

@@DelVivaldiI have the recording of Vivaldi’s concertos recording on the label “Divox Antiqua” where Carmignola made a recording of RV 212 (Concerti Per Le Solennita) - it is amazing!!!!

Did Antonio actually write "qui si ferma a piacere (?)"? Or was it you?
@DelVivaldi10 күн бұрын
@@Lyre000 A piacimento. As much as one likes. And it certainly wasn't me! I wasn't born yet. FYI I don't retouch the manuscripts.

@@DelVivaldi Oh, a piacimento. I'm italian and I couldn't manage to read it, I'm a little embarassed now :P Besides, I'm sorry, I didn't realize that I was basically insinuating you were retouching manuscripts, if I did offend you I am truly sorry. Complimenti per la cura dei video, e grazie della risposta! =) P.S. There is a symbol, I believe it's called "corona superiore" which basically I think means "a piacimento". Didn't it exist at the time of Don Antonio?

@@DelVivaldi it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corona_%28musica%29 I might be wrong about the use of this symbol, but could this be used to substitute "a piacimento"?
