Sometimes it does feel like that. I'm 20 years old and have lived here all my life. It feels like that sometimes because 9/10 you're on the train alone, and we're all so used to being surrounded by hundreds of people at any set time throughout the day that we often forget they're all incredible humans each with entirely different stories. But when you're outside and approach random people or even a pretty girl on a spring evening and spend the entire summer with friends or her, running around every corner of new york city, it sometimes feels like the world stops turning.

In any other place in the world, the people would be listening, smiling and maybe even clapping along to the music. In the US, no one talks to anyone else, especially on a subway or bus. I still smile listen and applaud, especially musicians of this caliber. It's only respect!
