I decided to finally learn to crochet tonight and I picked your video as my first ever attempt and I'm shocked to say, it's a recognisable heart shape and the overall shape is more or less a square. I'm thanking you from the bottom of my crochet heart ahah❤
@ParmisNobahari2 ай бұрын
Here's a tip At my first attempt, the heart came out curling inwards and looking like a blob. But then I tried this: So basically in the second round of the heart after crocheting the 8 treble stitches, instead of doing one double crochet in each of the next 2 stitches, do 2 double crochets in each of them (which adds up to 4 double crochets in total) This way your heart won't curl like that. But pay attention to the next rounds in the square. I personally did 3 treble crochet (in separate stiches) and then "2 tc, chain 2, 2 tc" all in the same stitch. (So that I have crocheted inside every new stitch that I have made) Or you can mix the first 2 treble crochets and do the third one normally It will also affect the second square round. It's a GREAT tutorial btw❤❤❤ Hope this helps❤

Did you notice the smiley face in the heart. Loved it. I used a majic circle and raised the heart by using the third loop
@olgalang63417 ай бұрын
You can also use the back loop only when using your white yarn. Raises the heart

I had the same problem. You might be crocheting too tight. 😊I tried again and crocheted a little looser. I tend to crochet very tightly. Try that. It might help.

You may be a tight crocheter! Putting too much tension when gripping your yarn can cause your projects to look wonky, so trying crocheting a little looser

This tutorial is AWESOME ❤ Not only I can listen to it and know exactly what to do, but I also can watch it without sound if I don't have earphones, or read it with the subtitles. Your voice is clear so the automatic subtitles transcript everything perfectly. I made two squares with an 8mm yarn and a 6mm hook, I takes me around one hour each. I am going to make a shirt without sleeves first, and if I am motivated enough, a cardigan , cause I don't have any cardigan .
