Still, it would need to be proven that the Pakistani government doesn't have a controlling interest in the Pakistani airline company . IF they do, then it's the same thing. And, some decision would have to be made about whether a private citizen owning land here also means private corporations could. That's for legal experts to debate and decide. in my opinion (if something sets a precedent, it's very important). But I'm pretty sure corporations from other countries have been allowed to own land here for a very long time.

They could outlaw foreigners from owning land in their country tomorrow and I would have no objection to it. If they wanted my opinion, I would say that they should outlaw it. We don't need to be owning their land anymore than we need them owning ours. Of course, they should also be providing for their own defense, which is pretty much entirely covered by America for most of the free world.
