What’s sad, is that you’re completely correct, but because the bar is set so low for GOP candidates. Vivek rarely answers questions completely when Baier or even Hannity interviews him on Fox. He also flip flops on issues and has no spine. He literally changes his mind and denies it even when he is caught on video. He has no actual plans and just tries to imitate Trump. He has no original ideas. Why vote for him who is imitating trump when you can have the real thing? Makes no sense at all. Most of the things that Vivek says along with DeSantis are lies or are great exaggerations. The majority of what they speak about is simply just not important to voters and especially republican/conservative ones. Or at the very least it doesn’t matter to a high enough quantity of them which is why they don’t turn out. And they do for the dems. In my opinion, the republican party is doomed for a while. None of these candidates can/will beat trump, but at the same time trump beats himself. Over 90% of the candidates he endorsed lost, and he lost the 2020 election too and all the subsequent special elections. No one is good enough to beat trump, but trump isn’t good enough to beat the dems. The party is stuck.

He appointed Wray, Rosenstein, Millie, and many others that were disasters that could have been avoided by someone who was a good judge of character. He listened to Faucci when he should have fired him. He did some brilliant things. But 2024 isn't 2016. I'm not sure he's able to deal with the political world of 2024. I love him but my country is headed towards Fascism with the Dems in power. It's going to take someone with energy and cleverness to be a guide through this wilderness. I wish he could jettison his baggage but he seems to have hung it round his neck. I am using Haley's time at the UN to evaluate her and her willingness to give military aid in the form of weapons, weapons systems and ammo to Ukraine so they can throw the Fascist Imperialist Putin the hell out of their country.
