KTM | Riding the Southern Express - Gemas to JB Sentral on Ekspres Selatan

A video report on my recent trip on Ekpres Selatan 43 from Gemas to JB Sentral. The leisurely journey takes nearly 4 hours 45 min and is a good way to enjoy old style railway travel - on a diesel locomotive hauled train on a single track route.

Just asking, how many years have the class 24 locomotives have been in service?

My favorite Locomotive ... every-time I take the express Rakyat I hope to have the class 24 ... its powerful engine... one of its kind and I think it is the fastest amongst all, At 130 or something...

True. Nowadays it is all ETS. KTM should keep one overnight train from Butterworth to the East Coast.
