Tbh heros spells should cost 20% more mp, thwack and wack shouldnt exist, his buffs should be harder to find, and his crits shouldnt exist. You could buff his frame data to compensate and he would be a more honest fighter.

Eh... I would say nerf his crits, make Whack and Thwack a lot rarer in the menu, and make the downsides of his buffs more obvious like the Monado Arts. I do like some of your suggestions, but I feel like removing too much of his stuff would just not make Hero "Hero", if that makes sense.

Funny part is: Sakurai was holding back with Hero's Down B command. There are much more attacks that could have used like a slash that restores the user's health or transforming into a dragon (those are used by DQ protagonists)

At the end of the day Smash is not really a competitive fighting game, but I do agree that most of their mechanics are unhealthy for the competitive scene, they are what makes Hero fun to play as tho. If Hero comes back I lowkey hope they don't change anything at all lol.

Hero is OP and needs to be banned. No one has more than 24 moves in smash its absurd. "RNG" isnt even an excuse when all of your moves are OP. Cheap character and no skill.
